April is an accomplished indie television producer and vibrant promoter of indie entertainment and small businesses. Certified through Citizen Television in New Haven, CT, she has been at the forefront of local media since 2002. April is best known for her work on popular local access shows such as "CT What's Up" and "Head 2 Toes Makeover," where she showcased her talent for transforming stories of personal triumph into compelling television. Her efforts were recognized in 2006 with a proclamation award, underscoring her impact in the community.


Alongside her sister, who co-produced "CT What's Up," April gained local fame and was featured in the Yale University Newspaper, celebrating her contributions to enriching local culture. Bringing a piece of her heritage to every project, April infuses "A Caribbean Descent Gurl" with the warmth and vitality of Caribbean culture. This show is not only a platform for local indie artists and businesses but also includes a unique culinary segment where April explores allergen-free dining and shares her cooking, highlighting the diverse flavors of her community.


Currently residing in Connecticut, April continues to connect with her audience through "A Caribbean Descent Gurl," combining music, food, and local business promotion into a variety show that celebrates and uplifts the spirits of viewers in Connecticut and beyond.
